Practice, Practice, Practice!
Practice is highly encouraged and emphasized throughout the course of education. Practice becomes increasingly important through the senior years of high school.
This is because practice allows you to understand the foundations of a topic area as well as the difficulties that may arise.
Although practice is time consuming and requires a sense of commitment it is extremely rewarding in that, it allows you to grow and becomes confident when it comes to exams!
I, as an educator believe in the importance of practice as a tool in allowing you to reach your full potential and maximising your marks!
I take this approach when giving advice about HSC study and providing resources and questions for my HSC students.
Practice, not only makes you more confident, but it means you train your mind to think and see solutions more clearly, especially when they are designed to trick you!
The following video is a snippet from an online private tutoring lesson with a year 11 mathematic extension 1 student.
In the video, we explore a question that to the untrained eye and mind is challenging and can be miss-read!
I urge you to watch this video or show it to someone who struggles with this, to better expand your knowledge on this topic area of trigonometric functions!
