Mensuration of arc lengths, sectors and segments may have to be one of the ways to get ‘easy’ marks during a HSC math exam (advanced). These exist as a bunch of relatively simple formulas, however more often than not students may use these incorrectly. Throughout my experience of HSC math students, it has come to my attention on how these ‘easy’ questions can be misunderstood and misused. This warrants a quick tutorial on how to prevent these silly mistakes.
During this tutorial, you will learn of the formulas as well as how to apply them to questions of varying difficulty.
